Derek Zachary

An interest in art, athletics and wellness since childhood led Derek to the University of Kentucky where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art Studio and a Bachelor of Arts in Education.

A majority of his freelance and corporate work has been with illustration, web design, advertising, and logo design. He has also taught in schools and assisted with the coaching of athletic teams.

He resides in the Bluegrass region of Kentucky.

	Web Designer / Graphic Artist for Feeds & Feeding - The University of Kentucky College of Agriculture's first distance learning course offered entirely online
	Typography concepts used in the New Acquisitions exhibition and accepted as a standard for future panel designs by the University of Kentucky Art Museum
	Assistant Coach for the Nicholas County High School Girls Track & Field Team that finished fourth in the state meet with one individual state champion
	Kentucky State Parks Seasonal Award for five years of dedicated service
